Our toolkit includes a nine-step process to guide educators in higher education who are interested in using a multilogue through all the important questions, beginning with whether multilogues are the right format for them in the first place – regarding the topic they chose, their competence level and other requirements. This is followed by a guide on how to design the format and how to enhance it digitally.

This toolkit or handbook is one of the results of the EU Erasmus+ project “Blended Multilogues: Enhancing Transformation and Innovation in Higher Education” conducted by Trnava University (Slovakia), Leuphana University Lüneburg (Germany), Hochschule für Philosophie München (Germany) and the Newman Institute in Uppsala (Sweden) between 2022 and 2024.

The project included a phase of ideation and development, testing the method with selected groups of students at the participating institutions, fine-tuning and conducting train the trainer events to share the concept of the Blended Multilogue. This toolkit includes many of the insights gained along the way and the members of this project hope that it will help you with your own work in higher education. Toolkit includes a 9 step process to guide educators interested in the format through all the important questions.
